HNBR 90 O-ring is a seal made of hydrogenated nitrile rubber with a hardness of 90 degrees.
It is usually used to seal various media, such as petroleum based oils and fuels, aliphatic hydrocarbons, vegetable oils, silicone oils and fats, ethylene glycol, water and steam, as well as some strong acid, alkali, and salt solutions. However, it is not suitable for media such as chlorinated hydrocarbons, ketones, ethers, and esters.
The HNBR 90 O-ring is usually cured with peroxide, but sulfur curing can also be performed to improve flexibility in dynamic systems. Its operating temperature range generally ranges from standard low temperature: -40 ° C (-40 ° F) to standard high temperature: 150 ° C (302 ° F).
